Dr. David Xu is a compassionate and dedicated dental professional hailing from Edmonton, Alberta. His journey in the field of dentistry has taken him from the bustling streets of New York City to the underserved areas of upstate New York and eventually to Calgary, where he now resides with his wife, Dr. Celeste, and their adorable baby boy.
Born and raised in Edmonton, David Xu exhibited a strong sense of responsibility and care for others from a young age. Driven by a desire to make a positive impact on people’s lives, he pursued his dream of becoming a dentist after completing his undergraduate degree at the University of Alberta. This dream led him to the prestigious New York University College of Dentistry in 2013 where he spent the next 4 years honing his skills and expanding his knowledge in the field of dentistry.
Following his dental school graduation in 2017, David Xu decided to stay in New York City to pursue a 1 year general practice residency at NYU Langone Brooklyn Hospital. During this rigorous period, he gained invaluable experience and expertise in advanced dental techniques, patient care, and specialized treatments. After completing his residency, he moved to upstate New York, a region characterized by underserved areas in need of quality dental care. Recognizing the importance of addressing the oral health disparities in these communities, David was determined to make a difference and improve the lives of those who lacked access to proper dental services.
In 2022 Dr. David and his wife Dr.Celeste decided to embark on a new journey and moved to Calgary. Since moving back, David has been enjoying the outdoors parks in the summer, skiing in the winter and spending time with newborn son.
