Testimonials
I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to Dr. Lai, Suki, and the entire team for organizing this course. It gave me a valuable opportunity to take the first step in exploring and gaining deeper insight into the dental industry.
I truly appreciate how thoughtfully the course was prepared — each session was detailed, practical, and highly informative. I especially want to thank the instructors, Lisa, Sally, and Claudia, for their patient guidance and for sharing their valuable experiences. Your passion and professionalism left a deep impression on me. Completing this course has given me the confidence to pursue a future in the dental field. I’m truly grateful for all your support and encouragement.
Thank you, Dr. Lai and Suki, for organizing this Dental Admin Course at a reasonable price and for your willingness to teach and provide practicum opportunities for those of us without a dental background. I truly appreciate all the materials and dedication you have put into this course.
We are grateful to have this opportunity to step into the dental industry. We learned so much during the classes. Lisa, Claudia, Sally, and Suki were incredibly helpful. They generously shared their own experiences and knowledge, created real-life scenarios, and provided us with a comprehensive class handbook. They are all wonderful teachers, and the lessons were both engaging and enjoyable.
I’m truly grateful for the opportunity to have enrolled in this course. It provides an excellent platform for individuals with no prior dental experience to enter the field, and I appreciate how the content is thoughtfully tailored to the role of a dental administrator. The curriculum focuses on the essential fundamentals, filtering out unnecessary material, which makes the learning experience more efficient and to the point.
I also enjoyed the structure of the course, including the scheduled breaks and the interactive nature of the sessions. The instructors often shared relevant stories from their professional experiences, which added real-world insight and helped bring the lessons to life.
Overall, this is a great course, and I truly appreciate the effort the entire team has put into delivering it. Special thanks to Dr. Lai, Suki, and all the instructors for your patience, encouragement, and willingness to guide us—even with our lack of prior knowledge. Your commitment to our learning really shows, and it’s something I genuinely value. Applause all around!

Is this course accredited?
Our program is not Accredited. There are two reasons for this. In order to get it accredited, there are a lot of steps and takes a long time to go through with the department of education in Alberta. If we go through this procedure, it will take at least another year and the cost of all this preparation will increase, which will carry over to the tuition cost of the program. This will not benefit the students. The second reason which is more important for the students, is that the dental administration position in the setting of dental clinics does not require a formal education, let alone an accredited program. If you look at all the dental receptionists, dental administrators, dental clinic managers, dental treatment plan coordinators across Canada, 95% or more have not had a formal dental related program training. Using Beddington Dental Group as an example, we have had more than 150 personnels in this related job position in the past twenty years, NONE of them had any formal dental related education. The criteria for any dental clinic to look for in the applicants are :
(1) Knowledge and experience in the field,
(2) personality such as being warm to people, not shy, being bubbly etc.,
(3) Good communication skills especial good English language skill,
(4) Attention to details to deal with accurate appointment booking and sales transaction entry etc.
The purpose of our admin course is to provide you the stepping stone to fulfil Criteria No. 1: Knowledge and Experience in the field. Meeting Criteria No. 1 is a huge door opening to get you employed in this high pay industry and we hope we can provide this bridge to the general public so that more people can get into the field. In my last some 20 years, it was always a lack of qualified applicants to fill up all the positions so for us as dental clinic owners, we are constantly lacking dental admins to support our growth, while so many people want to get into the field but have no opportunity because they don’t have the experience nor the knowledge in this field.
