Dr. Will Tunison
Dr. Will Tunison was born in Saskatchewan and invested the first 16 years of his life in Regina. Hardwork and dedication led to an opportunity for him to play waterpolo internationally and after training in Europe for two years and competing in many competitions around the world, he found himself in Calgary with the Canadian National Team training center at the age of eighteen. In 2001, Will shifted his focus from the pool to academics and completed a degree in Cellular, Molecular and Microbial Biology at the University of Calgary and then a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Alberta. Friends and family as well as an affinity for the Rocky Mountains enticed Will back to Calgary to practice Dentistry. As a well-respected Calgary dentist, he enjoys all aspects of dentistry and especially likes working with children, cosmetics and surgeries. Outside of the office, he enjoys all sorts of outdoor activities including snowboarding, surfing, rollerblading and hiking. He also likes reading, watching movies, travelling and learning new languages. Will has studied French and Hungarian and now is learning Spanish. In 2010, he travelled to Nicaragua to do volunteer dental work and hopes to return to help in underdeveloped countries with future dental missions.
